Defending British Touring Car champions West Surrey Racing have unveiled their brand new BMW 330i M Sport challengers ahead of next weekend's season opener at Brands Hatch.

BMW announced earlier in the year that they would replacing the BMW 125i M Sport, which guided reigning champion Colin Turkington to a third BTCC title in 2018, with the brand new 3 series for 2019.

WSR have already enjoyed previous success with the 3 Series, when the 320si took Turkington to his maiden title back during the 2009 season.

The trio of new cars, which will be driven by defending champion Turkington alongside Tom Oliphant at Team BMW and Andrew Jordan, once again competing under the BMW Pirtek Racing colours, will undergo a shakedown later today ahead of tomorrow's Media day test at Brands Hatch.

“It’s a great moment to see the incredible amount of hard work and long hours that everybody at WSR and our technical partners have put in, come to fruition as we present our new BMW 330i M Sports," said WSR team boss Dick Bennetts.

"They look like proper touring cars should on the surface, Nick Moss Design has done a fantastic job on the liveries, and under the skin we have a package that we believe can help us add to our 10 BTCC titles.

"We know we’ll be short on test mileage compared to most of the other teams come the start of the season, but that just means we’ll have to push ourselves even harder to make sure we’re in a strong situation as soon as possible.”
