Verstappen To Test For Jordan.

Jos Verstappen will join regular test driver Shinji Nakano at Silverstone today as Jordan prepares for the British Grand Prix.


The announcement will cast further doubt on regular driver Damon Hill's participation in his home event, after the Englishman hinted that he may quit the sport immediately in the wake of a disappointing French Grand Prix last weekend.


According to Jordan, both Hill and French race winner Heinz-Harald Frentzen will join the test on days three and four [Thursday and Friday], but the inclusion of Verstappen - previously a test driver for the nascent works Honda team this season - may point to him being the probable replacement for Hill should he decide to retire early.
