Schumacher Out For Three To Five.
Ferrari could be without star driver Michael Schumacher for as many as five races, if doctors treating the German are to be believed.
Schumacher was taken to Northampton General Hospital following his 130mph shunt at the British Grand Prix, where doctors operated on his broken leg. Surgery to repair what doctors called 'a straightforward fracture of the right tibia and fibula' was described as successful, and Schumacher spent a comfortable night on the wards.

The German is not required to stay at the hospital longer than today, however, and may return home to begin a recuperation period expected to last around six to eight weeks. The injury could not have come at a worse time for either Schumacher or Ferrari, however, with three races in the next five weeks. Although some speculation sees the double world champion returning for the Hungarian GP at the end of that period, it is unlikely that he will be able to drive much before Spa or Monza.
