Questions on F1? Ask Alex Yoong...

A new interactive Q & A feature has been introduced on Alex Yoong's home portal at www.alexyoong.com to service the less experienced far eastern Formula 1 fans.

The new feature can be found in the form of Q & A on the discussion board of the site.

Yoong welcomes this addition as: "Many Malaysians have asked me questions on Formula 1 and being the only driver in Formula 1 coming from this region, I am pleased to be able to share what I know with the fans."

An Alex Yoong Press Office spokesman said: "Unlike fans in Europe and South America where so many past and present Formula 1 drivers have originated, our history is not as long and therefore our experience has not been that in depth. We only hope that fans who have forwarded questions to Alex through his site at www.alexyoong.com will be patient in receiving replies from him, because once the season starts Alex will get a lot busier. He will however attempt to answer all questions put to him as long as they are within his control."

This exclusive opportunity where fans can interact with a Formula 1 driver will be expanded later to include live chat sessions with Alex Yoong as well as video clips from Alex at F1 circuits around the world.

"These opportunities are not only restricted to new Formula 1 fans as those from around the world who have been following Formula 1 for a long time, or professional and ordinary folks, can also take advantage of these opportunities to have questions answered about Malaysia and her multi cultural attractions and tourism destinations." added Yoong.

Media personnel who would like some clarification or explanations on the technical side of F1 cars and the racing aspects of the series are also encouraged to use this forum to get answers from Yoong.
