Q:
Craig, what do you love about your job?

Craig Wilson:
The multi-faceted nature of the job. It doesn't just involve one task and I like that.

Q:
What don't you like about your job?

CW:
The constant moving about. Time spent in airports and minibuses and the perpetual tiredness that goes with it.

Q:
What is your best moment in F1?

CW:
Imola 2001 when I was working with Williams and we got our first win with Ralf [Schumacher].

Q:
What's your favourite F1 venue and why?

CW:
For the social scene it was Buenos Aires - beautiful place but horrible track! For the best track venue it's Suzuka but that's not good for the social scene!

Q:
If you didn't do this what would you do?

CW:
I would have liked to be a road car designer.

Q:
What is the hardest thing about being away from home?

CW:
Not having enough free time at home to be able to organise the rest of your life.

Q:
What's the best moment of a race weekend?

CW:
The final part of a race if you've done well. It's a great feeling.

Q:
What's the most important thing about your job?

CW:
Making the right decisions.

Q:
How many people do you work with and who do you rely on the most?

CW:
I work with 10-15 people directly. I rely on everybody - it's not just one person: Engineers, technicians, mechanics and the design, engineering and production staff back at the factory.

Q:
When will you stop doing this job?

CW:
When I have enough money to retire - long way to go yet!

Q:
What do you do in between races?

CW:
I alternate between going testing and being in the factory preparing for the next race. If we do every test it gets hard so we usually alternate engineering staff so that we can get at least a little bit of time at home.
