Stephane Sarrazin will join up with MS&MD Andretti for the remainder of the 2018-19 Formula E season replacing Tom Blomqvist.

The French driver, who began the World Endurance Championship ‘super-season’ last weekend with SMP Racing, has signed a three-round deal with Andretti which will see him finish the current Formula E championship for the US squad alongside Antonio Felix da Costa.

Sarrazin, a former Formula E rostrum finisher, was a regular driver in the all-electric series for the past three seasons with Venturi and Techeetah. The 42-year-old replaces Blomqvist at Andretti for the final three rounds starting later this month at the Berlin ePrix.

“I am so excited to be joining Andretti for the rest of the Formula E season,” Sarrazin tweeted. “Can't wait to get started at the Berlin ePrix.”
