Following in the footsteps of fellow countryman Nicolo Bulega and Lorenzo Della Porta as CEV Moto3 champions, Foggia stormed to the title with two races to spare last year ahead of his graduation to the world stage in Moto3 with the Sky Racing Team VR46.

The Italian 17-year-old also caught the eye with a trio of wildcard appearances in Moto3 last season with 14th place on debut for Platinum Bay Real Estate at Brno followed by eight place in Aragon and seventh place at Valencia for the Sky Racing VR46 squad.

Going on his early results, coupled with his winter testing performances, Foggia is already tipped as the standout rookie for 2018 and in some circles as a potential world champion in his first full year in Moto3.
