The 23-year-old is currently assessing his options for the 2018 season, having been linked with a move back to the World Superbike championship and a switch to the MCE British Superbike championship, after enjoying a productive maiden MotoGP outing with a test for the factory KTM squad.

KTM has released official images of the German testing the RC16 at Aragon alongside factory riders Pol Espargaro, Bradley Smith and Mika Kallio during its two-day test after the Aragon MotoGP.

Reiterberger’s grand prix racing experience is limited to a sole wildcard entry in the 2012 Moto2 German round at Sachsenring while he also competed in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies' Cup in 2007 and 2008 before switching to production class racing.
