The top three places in the 2026 MotoGP standings remain unchanged after Marco Bezzecchi, Jorge Martin and Pedro Acosta all failed to score in Saturday's chaotic Jerez Sprint race.

However, winner Marc Marquez has climbed above Fabio di Giannantonio for fourth and moved 12-points closer to Bezzecchi.

Marquez's Ducati Lenovo team-mate Pecco Bagnaia also gains a place, at the expense of Alex Marquez, who fell from the lead while riding on slicks in the rain.

Brad Binder claimed his best result of the season with fourth, but will wonder what could have been after the South African was the first rider to pit in the mid-race rain.

With 25-points up for grabs in Sunday's grand prix, any of the world championship top four could leave Jerez with the title lead...
