Randy de Puniet outpaces the factory Ducatis to lead Q1. Nicky Hayden also moves through to Q2.

Hayden's team-mate Andrea Dovizioso ran Hector Barbera wide for seeking a tow - then kicked Barbera's bike at the end of the session. Andrea Iannone fell.

While de Puniet and Hayden join the ten fastest riders after third practice in Q2 - Jorge Lorenzo will be missing - the others will start, in the following order, from 13th on the grid onwards.
