James Hillier will stay at Bournemouth Kawasaki for a seventh consecutive year of international road racing events including the North West 200 and the Isle of Man TT.

Having claimed three podiums in this year's Isle of Man TT with the new Kawasaki ZX-10R, Hillier is keen to maintain his momentum and with a year's worth of development on the bike he is now shifting focus towards wins in 2017.

"I have an excellent relationship with Bournemouth Kawasaki racing and am delighted to once again be contesting North West 200 and Isle of Man TT on the Official Kawasaki UK backed machinery," the former Isle of Man TT race winner said. "We have had some strong finishes over the years at the Isle of Man TT and gained a lot of data.

"I will again be working hard to prepare for next season. My goal is to win races and I know the team will be putting together a strong package with the new ZX-10RR to help me do just that."

Pete Extance, Bournemouth Kawasaki team boss, says he's thrilled to retain Hillier for next year and is targeting the top step of the rostrum in both the Isle Man TT Superbike and Senior races having failed to win either so far.

"We are delighted that James Hillier will once again lead our attack on the North West 200 and Isle of Man TT," Extance said. "I know that the team will be working extremely hard to chase that illusive Superbike and Senior victory at the Isle of Man TT that has so far eluded us.

"I want to thank Kawasaki UK for this tremendous opportunity and we are already putting together our testing schedule for 2017 that will include sessions with the Kawasaki World Superbike squad."

Bournemouth Kawasaki Racing also confirmed its MCE British Superbike championship rider line-up for 2017 with former World Superbike star Leon Haslam joining alongside the retained Luke Mossey.
