Norino Brignola will make his World Superbike debut at Misano this weekend in place of Loic Napoleone's after the Frenchman was dropped by the Grillini PBR Team.

The 2005 Italian Superbike Champion and CIV runner-up, Brignola will join the Yamaha squad after Napoleone's debut season with the outfit proved to be a disappointment.

The Frenchman has not scored any points in the first 14 rounds of the season, a status that led to both team and rider to come to a mutual agreement to end their partnership at the end of the Nurburgring round.

As such, 36-year-old Brignola will complete the season with the Italian outfit, beginning with his effective home round at Misano.
