Razgatlioglu remains at Puccetti Kawasaki for 2019

Fresh from taking his maiden World Superbike rostrum Toprak Razgatlioglu has re-signed with the Puccetti Kawasaki squad for the 2019 World Superbike championship.

The Turkish rookie has produced eye-catching performances so far this year which culminated in a first podium result in the series in race two at Donington Park. Razgatlioglu also finished as top Kawasaki rider in the race ahead of factory duo Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes.

Razgatlioglu remains at Puccetti Kawasaki for 2019

Fresh from taking his maiden World Superbike rostrum Toprak Razgatlioglu has re-signed with the Puccetti Kawasaki squad for the 2019 World Superbike championship.

The Turkish rookie has produced eye-catching performances so far this year which culminated in a first podium result in the series in race two at Donington Park. Razgatlioglu also finished as top Kawasaki rider in the race ahead of factory duo Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes.

Seen as his nation’s new leading light in motorcycle racing, after the emotional retirement of five-time World Supersport champion Kenan Sofuoglu due to injury concerns, Razgatlioglu will continue to receive mentoring from Sofuoglu while remaining in the Puccetti fold for 2019.

Attention will now turn to the factory Kawasaki squad line-up for 2019, with Rea hinting a deal is close to completion despite also having offers from factory MotoGP squads. Double winner at Donington Park Michael van der Mark has also been tipped with a possible switch to the KRT squad which puts pressure on Sykes’s position at the team.
