Kyle Ryde anticipating “great racing” as BSB title battle moves to Brands Hatch
Kyle Ryde says there “should be some great racing” between himself and some of his title rivals at the Brands Hatch BSB.

BSB heads to Brands Hatch for the first time in 2026 this weekend (17–19 July) with Kyle Ryde still on top in the title battle.
Ryde got off to a tough start at the previous round at Snetterton and was penalised in a controversial incident with Bradley Ray at the first corner in Race 2.
However, he turned the weekend around in the final race and took his eighth win of the season from 12 races.
Entering the Brands Hatch round, Ryde leads the 2026 BSB riders’ standings by 17 points – one point shy of a race win – over Scott Redding, having finished on the podium in every race so far this season.

Ryde also has a strong record at Brands Hatch. It was this round a year ago that saw him take his first win of the season en route to the title, and of course he took the victory in the memorable winner-takes-all title decider with Tommy Bridewell in the final round of 2024.
“We are heading to Brands Hatch with a great podium record of being on the podium in all 12 races so far, so a big credit to the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing team for keeping it together and everything working well,” said Ryde, speaking to BritishSuperbike.com ahead of the Brands Hatch round.
“I am looking forward to Brands Hatch. I rode there a couple of weeks ago on my 250 and the RC30 and had a lot of fun, so I am very much looking forward to it.

“I can’t wait to really see what the V4 R is going to be like around the Grand Prix circuit, but it has felt good at the track so far, it started difficult at Snetterton but came good in the end.
“We go there still with the championship lead and obviously the main contenders are one hundred percent be Scott [Redding] and Brad [Ray], so it should be some great racing. I am looking forward to getting started.”
