UK Memorial service for Kirk McCarthy.

A memorial service for popular Australian racer Kirk McCarthy is to be held on Tuesday 31st August in Warwickshire, UK.

35-year-old McCarthy was tragically killed during an accident at round six of the Australian Supersport championship on August 15. Kirk was the 1995 Australian Superbike champion and had also contested the 500cc World Championship, as well as the World Superbike and British Supersport championships (pictured).

A memorial service for popular Australian racer Kirk McCarthy is to be held on Tuesday 31st August in Warwickshire, UK.

With the blessing of Kirk's family, his closest friends in the UK have now organised a Memorial Service on Tuesday 31st of August at 3pm in St Margaret's Church, Stoke Golding, Warwickshire. (Not far from Mallory Park).

No flowers are requested, but donations can be made to: The Royal Childrens Hospital, Flemington Road, Parkville, Melbourne, VIC 3052, Australia.
