Co-ordit withdraw from BSB.

British Superbike team Co-ordit Racing have been forced to pull out of this year's championship as they fall victim to the current economic hardship.

The team, which has been running Dean Ellison on a Yamaha in the premier class this year and also has interests in the Superstock class as well, has been forced to disband for the time being in order to safeguard sponsorship funds for the future.

Nonetheless, team principal Pete Bradshaw is confident that by withdrawing Co-ordit now, they can work out a plan to get back on the grid in the future.

"It is with great regret that Co-ordit Racing Team will be withdrawing from the 2008 Bennetts British Superbike Championship. With the down-turn in the economy I have had to make the reluctant decision to end the sponsorship to safeguard funds for what is predicted to be a hard time in our business sector.

"The team will now try and secure funding so that we can return as quickly as possible. Our thanks go out to all those sponsors who have helped and assisted with the team so far together with the staff at MSVR and Rob Mac Racing."
