Bridewell was fastest on day-one of Bennetts British Superbike action at Oulton Park, as the new Superpicks format delivered a thrilling battle.

Pre-season favorite O’Halloran was fastest in FP1, before taking second during the afternoon - +0.369s down on the impressive benchmark time set by Bridewell. 

The top Ducati was Christian Iddon as he claimed third place, while BMW riders Bradley Ray and Danny Buchan rounded out the top five. Defending series champion Josh Brookes sneaked into the all-important top 12 with tenth. 

The BSB Superpicks format - new for 2021, means the top 12 riders from Friday on combined times are granted automatic progression to Q2.
