Alexander Albon has made his first appearance in full Red Bull Racing team colours ahead of his debut for the team at this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix.

Red Bull announced earlier this month that it would be promoting Albon from its B-team, Toro Rosso, up into its senior outfit from the Spa race weekend onwards, with Pierre Gasly moving in the opposite direction after a disappointing start to the season.

F1 rookie Albon was pictured on social media by the team visiting the factory on Monday, posing in his new racing overalls and completing a seat fit in the RB15 car that he will drive for the first time on Friday.

While Albon spent his Bank Holiday Monday getting accustomed with his new team, Gasly was returning to his old stomping ground as he headed to Toro Rosso's factory in Faenza to complete a seat fitting in the STR14 car.

Red Bull has said its evaluation of Albon comes as part of its considerations for the second seat at the team in 2020, with Max Verstappen set to remain for next year.

Having worked with Gasly and his new Toro Rosso teammate, Daniil Kvyat, through 2015 and the early part of 2016, Albon is the only driver under the Red Bull umbrella that remains an unknown quantity for the senior team ahead of next year.
