Jorge Lorenzo unveiled a special one-off livery for his Fiat Yamaha at the Montmel? circuit in Catalunya today (Thursday) in honour of the Barcelona football club, which won the Champions League two weeks ago.

The 22-year-old, who is lying second in the MotoGP World Championship, is a life-long supporter of the team and was in Rome to watch their 2-0 triumph over Manchester United.

The 22-year-old, who is lying second in the MotoGP World Championship, is a life-long supporter of the team and was in Rome to watch their 2-0 triumph over Manchester United.

"I'm very proud to be here in the colours of my team. I was there in Rome for the final and watching Barca win was like a dream!" said Lorenzo, who has won two of the five races so far this season.

"I'm so happy to be able to show my support for them in this way at our home track, and I hope the fans will like it because I know many of them are also big Barcelona fans!" added the #99.

FC Barcelona was represented at the unveiling by Jaume Ferrer amd Joan Boix, vice presidents of the club.

Lorenzo, who will start round six just four points behind world championship leader Casey Stoner, was ruled out of his 2008 home event by a practice crash.
