Dovizioso pips Petrucci, Rins third

Two from two, Andrea Dovizioso maintained his place at the head of the MotoGP standings by topping a frantic FP2 session in Qatar, pipping fellow Ducati man Danilo Petrucci with just minutes to spare.

The three-time runner up at this track was under the circuit record to record the fastest time of the day, a feat that came at the expense of impressive Italian Danilo Petrucci, who appeared poised to walk away from Friday with the quickest time with two minutes remaining.
