Brno MotoGP test times - Monday (FINAL)

Following the Czech Republic MotoGP, a day of official testing was held at the Brno circuit.

Pol Espargaro was absent after breaking his collarbone in Sunday's warm-up session, while Maverick Vinales and Stefan Bradl did not ride due to their heavy accident on lap one of the race.

Testing took place from 10am to 6pm. Lorenzo set the pace until just after midday, when team-mate and Sunday's race winner Dovizioso moved to the top. The one-lap momentum then swung to Honda, with Marc Marquez and team-mate Dani Pedrosa exchanging P1.

Marquez had some new developments to test, most obviously carbon-black parts. Pedrosa worked on solving his recent rear traction problems, although the high grip level of the track meant he wasn't getting carried away.

All riders had a new (medium) front Michelin tyre to test for 2019, featuring a revised profile and first seen at the Barcelona test. The aim of the tyre is to improve grip and stability under braking and corner entry. The tyre had a new construction at Brno, but those that tested it seemed to prefer the previous Barcelona spec tyre.

Round eleven of the MotoGP World Championship starts in Austria on Friday…
