Following's Sunday's Spanish MotoGP, riders and teams returned to Jerez for a day of Official testing.

Rins stopped in the early afternoon while leading the timesheets, with Vinales - who had been fastest in the morning - moving back on top just after 4pm on his way to a massive 101 laps!

Rins and Suzuki team-mate Mir spent part of the day trying the 2022 engine prototype first seen in the Qatar Test as well as settings for the upcoming races.

Fabio Quartararo skipped the test as he undergoes a medical check following Sunday's arm pump problems, which saw him drop from the race lead to 13th place.

Marc Marquez only did one run because his body felt "locked, the neck and right shoulder. I felt similar after the Portimao race but the crash on Saturday here didn't help. I wasn't at a good level to ride so we stopped the test."

Testing began at 10am and concluded at 6pm.

The French Grand Prix at Le Mans takes place on May 14-16...
