2026 Classic TT: Day 1 race results
Results from day one of racing at the 2026 Classic TT

Paul Jordan won a dramatic opening race at the 2026 Classic TT, as high attrition across the two-lap contest created a wild conclusion to the Historic Junior contest.
The opening race day for the 2026 Classic TT took place on Saturday 22 August, having been moved forward from its original start date of Monday 24 August in a major schedule change prompted by bleak weather forecasts.
The only race for the Classic bikes on Saturday, the Historic Junior race was run over two laps, with Mike Browne taking command early on his Honda CB350 K4.
The Irishman looked set for a certain victory as he blasted away onto the second and final tour, posting a new lap record of 105.322mph. But his race would end on the run between Glen Helen and Ballaugh due to a puncture.

This promoted Jamie Coward to the lead, but he too would retire. This then opened the door for Paul Jordan to take the lead, which he held onto in a race that saw just 19 finishers from the 31 riders meant to take the start.
Dominic Herbertson was promoted to second amid the drama for the leaders, while Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness bagged an unlikely podium in third on his Honda.
However, the 23-time TT winner narrowly missed out on his target of a 100mph lap, posting a 99.232mph effort.
Dan Sayle was fourth, while Will Loder completed the top five on the first of the non-Hondas on his Greeves Oulton. James Chawke, Andy Hornby, Philip Mcgurk, Kyle Parkes and Jeffrey Vermeulen - all on Hondas - completed the top 10.
Isle of Man TT Sidecar superstar Ben Birchall was 11th as he made his solo debut at the Classic TT on a Honda CB350 K4.
Michael Dunlop was due to take part on a Royal Enfield, but the 36-time TT winner was a non-starter.
Racing at the Classic TT is due to continue on Sunday with the Formula One and Lightweight/Ultra-lightweight contests.
