Toprak Razgatlioglu reveals “my biggest dream” before MotoGP move
Toprak Razgatlioglu says his “biggest dream” for 2025 is to go to MotoGP as a three-time WorldSBK Champion.

Reigning WorldSBK Champion Toprak Razgatlioglu says adding a third title to his tally in the production derivative series is his “biggest dream for this year”.
Razgatlioglu announced his move to MotoGP with the Pramac Yamaha team earlier this week, as the two-time World Superbike Champion finally made the move that had been rumoured and speculated over since he won his first title in 2021.
Entering this weekend’s Emilia-Romagna Round of the 2025 season, Razgatlioglu faces a 31-point deficit to Ducati’s Nicolo Bulega in the riders’ standings. The Turkish rider says that overturning that deficit and claiming his third world title is his primary target for the remainder of the season.
“Moving to MotoGP as a three-time WorldSBK Champion is my biggest dream for this year,” Toprak Razgatlioglu told WorldSBK.com in Misano ahead of this weekend’s Emilia-Romagna Round.
“We’re still fighting for the title with Bulega and we’re not so far behind, just 31 points.
“I hope we get the title this year.”
Razgatlioglu added that he feels added importance in this year’s title because he now knows it will be his final year with BMW.
“This is my last year with BMW, and I need to give something to them before I move to MotoGP,” he said.
“We had a very good test [at Misano] and worked so hard, and the feeling wasn’t bad, just the hot conditions are a bit difficult for me.”
Finally, Razgatlioglu explained that he has split emotions on his coming move to grand prix, having been racing in the WorldSBK paddock for a decade.
“On one side, I feel sad; on the other, I’m so happy,” he said.
“I’m sad because I feel like WorldSBK is part of my family. I know everyone, I’m really happy with the paddock.
“I’ll move to MotoGP and I’m happy for this. I’ll miss everyone! Not only the racing but especially the teams; I’m always talking to the teams.
“I’m really good friends with everyone and I’ll miss everyone.
“This paddock is relaxed, and everyone is friendly.”
Bulega "not so happy" about Razgatlioglu move
Nicolo Bulega reflected Razgatlioglu's thoughts, the currect championship leader admitting that he's "not so happy" to see a rival like Razgatlioglu depart WorldSBK.
"I’m happy for Toprak [Razgatlioglu] that he goes to MotoGP because I think it’s his dream and he deserves it, because he’s in Superbike for many years and always very strong," Bulega told WorldSBK.com.
"So, I think he deserves a chance to go to MotoGP, so I’m happy for him.
"I’m not so happy for me because next year I will lose a very good rival. I’m happy when I fight with him because he’s not dirty, so I like to battle with him. Maybe next year another rider will come, very strong like him. We will see next year."
