Suzuki Alstare reveals livery, new sponsor

Suzuki Alstare has revealed its livery for the 2010 World Superbike season, complete with prominent new backing from alcoholic beverage company Biscaldi.

The Belgian-based team will wear the logos of 'VIRU', a premium beer brewed in Estonia, on its GSX-R1000 having already extended its partnership with the Dark Dog energy drink company.

Suzuki has run without decals during pre-season testing thus far, but the blue and black corporate colours of VIRU ensure that the livery bears much in common with that of its '09 counterpart.

VIRU also replaces Brux as a key sponsor, Suzuki having removed its logos from its bikes during the final three events after it began legal proceedings against them.

Suzuki has high hopes for the 2010 season having starred in pre-season testing with new signing Leon Haslam. The Briton was second fastest at the recent Portimao test, while team-mate Sylvain Guintoli was also a top ten contender.
