Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing has revealed that it has secured the first of the SEAT Leons it intends to field in the 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship.

The outfit, run by Team CVR, announced plans to field a two-car entry into the BTCC earlier this year, with Dan Eaves set to make a return to the series alongside Indian racer Phiroze Bilimoria.

The two-cars will run on E85 bio-ethanol, with the first Leon - an ex-factory WTCC machine - due to arrive from Europe prior to Christmas.

"We are pleased to announce that Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing will take delivery of its first Seat Leon mid December in-line with the teams plans and schedule for 09," team manager Colin Neill said. "We expect to bring the second car on-stream in January ahead of our winter testing programme.

"In the meantime we hope to have an engine on the dyno and ready to run E85 for the first car arriving, then we can get Dan back behind the wheel where he belongs and give it a shakedown as soon as is practical."
