BTCC hits the streets of NewcastleGateshead.

The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship hit the streets of NewcastleGateshead Quayside on Thursday night as the top drivers in the series staged a street demonstration for the massed fans.

Aimed at bringing the series right to the fans in a city centre location and promoting this weekend's Croft round of the championship, SEAT, Vauxhall, Team Halfords, WSR and Arena Motorsport were all on display, burning rubber and gunning their cars down the Quayside pavement.
