Cammish leads Cook in wet opening practice
Halfords Yuasa Racing's Dan Cammish has maintained his impressive start to life in the British Touring Car Championship by narrowly setting the pace during opening practice at Donington Park.
The BTCC rookie produced an eye-catching performance last time out at Brands Hatch and looks set to be in contention to replicate his qualifying heroics after taming the wet-conditions ahead of Vauxhall's Josh Cook in second.

Cammish led the majority of the 40-minute running after setting a 1 minute 19.925s lap relatively early on in the session. At one point, the Honda Civic Type-R driver enjoyed a near 0.5 margin ahead of the rest of the field. However Power Maxed TAG Racing's Cook closed in to within 0.027s of Cammish with his own effort.
Behind the top-two, BMW Pirtek Racing's Andrew Jordan led the charge for BMW in third position, ahead of reigning champion Ashley Sutton in fourth.
WIX Racing's Brett Smith was the next best placed Honda runner with the fifth fastest time, just 0.021s quicker than the Mercedes A-Class of Aiden Moffat in sixth.
James Cole was Motorbase Performance's sole representative in the top-ten in seventh, ahead of Rory Butcher, Jack Goff and Adam Morgan, who all completed the remainder of the top-ten in eighth, ninth and tenth.
Elsewhere, current points leader Tom Ingram was just 17th fastest ahead of Team BMW's Colin Turkington in 18th. Subaru's Jason Plato ended the opening session in 29th.
