Jordan to test B-spec car at Monza.

Jordan have confirmed that they will resume work on the B spec EJ15 this week, when they conduct a three-day test at Monza, ahead of the Italian Grand Prix on September 4.

Jordan have been working on the EJ15B for sometime and there was some talk that it would be introduced back in July, at the French Grand Prix. However, after suffering several teething problems, the Silverstone based squad was forced to delay its debut.

Speaking after seeing Narain Karthikeyan and Tiago Monteiro finish 14th and 15th in Turkey on Sunday, chief race and test engineer, Dominic Harlow added that work on the EJ15B will begin this Wednesday, with both race drivers, and test drivers, Nicolas Kiesa and Nicky Pastorelli sharing the driving duties.

"We are very pleased that both cars have finished again," stated Harlow. "Tiago had his 14th consecutive finish, which is fantastic for a rookie. Narain did a great race having had so little running on a new circuit, having done only less than half a race distance here before.

"It is a very useful experience for both drivers and we will now go to Monza this week to test the EJ15B."
