Ultra-rare MotoGP-inspired Aprilia Superbike sells out almost instantly
Aprilia’s RSV4 X-GP limited run sells out just two weeks after release

Aprilia’s RSV4 X-GP, an ultra-rare Superbike derived from its MotoGP challenger, has sold out its extremely limited run just two weeks after it was released to the public.
The exotic street bike boasts the most powerful RSV4 engine every built at 238 horsepower, with the machine weighing just 165kg and featuring a number of MotoGP-developed aerodynamic additions.
The X-GP was built to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the RS-GP racing in MotoGP, with Aprilia returning to the grand prix world championship’s top class in 2015.
In that time it has won five grands prix and is currently on course to finish runner-up in the constructors’ standings in 2025 with arguably its most competitive RS-GP yet.
The X-GP was revealed to the public during the Catalan Grand Prix weekend in early September and was put on sale a few weeks later.
Limited to just 30 models, the X-GP has sold out in just 14 days.
“X confirms its status for Aprilia Racing as an exclusive and niche brand with enormous potential,” Aprilia CEO Massimo Rivola said.
“Aprilia Racing is synonymous with innovation and it fills us with pride to see that, even at a strategic and product level, we have created an iconic brand and a new type of absolutely exclusive bike, conceived specifically for track enthusiasts.”
Aprilia’s MotoGP campaign in 2025 has been a mixed affair, with much of the headlines stolen by the injury problems for 2024 world champion Jorge Martin and his subsequent contract dispute with the brand.
But Marco Bezzecchi has brought Aprilia to consistent frontrunner status, with the Italian winning the British Grand Prix and breaching the podium in either a sprint or grand prix in seven of the 11 rounds since.
He converted pole last weekend at the Indonesian Grand Prix to victory in the sprint, but crashed on the opening lap of the grand prix with Marc Marquez.
Bezzecchi escaped serious injury but is likely facing a penalty for the upcoming Australian Grand Prix.
Team-mate Martin was absent from Mandalika and will be sidelined in Australia also after fracturing his shoulder in a crash in Japan with Bezzecchi.
