Andrea Dovizioso's usual 'Undaunted' logo on the seat of his leathers was replaced by the word 'Unemployed' for this weekend's second Misano MotoGP round.

It refers to the Italian's current status for 2021, having announced he will leave Ducati at the end of this season, but with no obvious options available.

The triple title runner-up revealed the change of logo came as a result of losing a bet!

"I was forced to put that ['Unemployed'] because of a bet with my friends," Dovizioso explained on Saturday. "They said to me if you are first in the championship after Misano 1, you have to put that on. And it happened.

"I didn't work that well to create that situation, because I finished seventh in the race. But in the end, it happened and I had to put it on. If you bet something with your friends, you can’t go back.

"So I was forced to by my friends. But Fabio did it!"

Dovizioso took the title lead, by six points, after Quartararo crashed in the race.

However, Dovizioso faces a fight to keep the title lead after qualifying in tenth for this afternoon's grand prix, with Quartararo starting on the front row in third.
