Huge drama in Malaysia as world championship Valentino Rossi appears to kick out at Marc Marquez, sending the Honda rider down.

Rossi and Marquez had been battling furiously over third for lap after lap when the Italian appeared to lose his cool.

Meanwhile, Dani Pedrosa won the race from Rossi's title rival Jorge Lorenzo, meaning Rossi's championship lead has been cut from 11 to 7 points heading into the Valencia finale - but there is a real risk that Race Direction will hand Rossi some form of penalty...
