The third day of the Sepang MotoGP Shakedown test took place at the Malaysian circuit on Sunday.

No live timing was available on day one, but Pol Espargaro was quickest with a 2m 0.812s on day two - but it was brother Aleix who set the fastest lap time after joining the test on day three.

The KTM and Aprilia race riders are eligible to take part due to the technical concessions they receive, which includes extra private testing. However Aleix Espargaro's Aprilia team-mate Andrea Iannone did not ride today, apparently due to a tooth infection, with the team advising him to wait for the official test.

Jonas Folger spent most of the day riding 'Yamaha Bike 2', suffering a small fall, while Katsuyuki Nakasuga had 'Yamaha Bike 1'. Folger later finished the day on bike '1'.

Stefan Bradl was not on track today, but will be back to replace the injured Jorge Lorenzo during the official test. Folger is also confirmed for the official test.

BSB star Bradley Ray got to try one of Sylvain Guintoli's test bikes, so was not named on the timesheets. Michele Pirro was again the only Ducati test rider.

The official test, open to all race and test riders, will be held back at Sepang from February 6-8.
