Full Biography

Dominique Aegerter made his world championship debut in 2006 with Aprilia before going on to compete in the 125cc category for a further three full seasons.

The Swiss rider was then picked up by Suter in Moto2 for the 2010 season which became his home for five years. Aegerter, who had just one win to his name at this stage, signed with Technomag Racing Interwetten for 2015 which saw him change to Kalex machinery.

Despite some impressive performances over the next five seasons - not all were with the same team after Aegerter switched to Kiefer Racing in 2017 - Aegerter ended his Moto2 career still with one victory.

A switch to the new MotoE category in 2020 saw Aegerter begin to find his winning touch as he third after claiming two victories. The Dynavolt Intact Rider had to wait unril 2022 for his next wins, however, it wasn't just race wins that came the way of Aegerter as he won the title.

Whilst remaining in the Grand Prix paddock, Aegerter really found his home in WorldSSP as he won the championship thanks to a dominant display as a rookie in 2021.

The Swiss rider then made it back-to-back championship wins in the intermediate class for the first time since Kenan Sofuoglu, as he got the better of Lorenzo Baldassarri in 2022.

Aegerter won ten races in 2021 before going on to make that 16 in his second WorldSSP campaign.

A brilliant career in WorldSSP was rewarded with a move to WorldSBK for 2023 after joining GRT Yamaha alongside Remy Gardner.
