The 2014 British Superstock 1000 champion made the full-time step up to the Superbike class this season and in a year filled with highs and lows Danny Buchan has proven his racing mettle to be capable of fighting at the sharp in BSB.

Despite frequently demonstrating top ten pace during free practice sessions, Buchan's early season form was stalled by frequent crashes and his frustrations were starting to simmer with the more time he spent on the floor.

After a run of five consecutive failures at Brands Hatch, Thruxton and Cadwell Park things started to click for the Essex-based rider and at the next round at the Oulton Park triple-header he grabbed two podiums and a fourth place.

Buchan's season took a twist when his Be Wiser Kawasaki squad was forced to pull out of BSB with two rounds to go and he was swiftly picked up by PBM Kawasaki to act as cover for the injured Stuart Easton.

An underwhelming maiden outing with PBM at Silverstone, collecting just two points from the weekend, was quickly forgotten with a solid end to the year with three top tens at Brands Hatch.
