New lights at the top table, Haas and Bournemouth have shared so huge highs and lows in their recent history
When both Haas and Bournemouth arrived at the top table of F1 and football respectively, there was a certain air of scepticism about their long-term prospects. Many F1 teams had failed to keep afloat, while some new Premier League clubs - particularly those of Bournemouth’s size - had yo-yoed back down to the Championship.
Yet both teams have managed to buck the trend, proving that small, lean operations can be beautiful. Haas is gearing up for the 2018 season tipped as one of the possible surprise packages, while Bournemouth is closing in on back-to-back top-half finishes in the Premier League this year.
