Daniel Ricciardo enjoyed his first outing as a Renault Formula 1 driver on Saturday after completing a shakedown of the team's new R.S.19 car in Barcelona.

Seven-time grand prix winner Ricciardo left Red Bull to join Renault for the 2019 season on a two-year deal, partnering Nico Hulkenberg.

After helping unveil the team's new livery earlier this week, Ricciardo hit the track for the first time in the new 2019 car as the team completed its planned shakedown at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Teams are permitted to stage two filming days of no more than 100 km per year, with most opting to use one in preparation for the new season.

Collective running begins in Barcelona on Monday February 18.
