Danny Buchan has topped the final free practice session at Snetterton for FS-3 Racing Kawasaki by one-tenth of a second from JG Speedfit Kawasaki’s Leon Haslam in a surprising FP3.

While dark clouds greeted the start of the session, conditions remained dry throughout with Buchan displacing Bradley Ray (Buildbase Suzuki) at the top of the times in the opening stages.

Despite a number of riders opting for fresh rear tyres towards the end of the session, the usual late time attack failed to materialise with Haslam going closest to Buchan in second place with just 0.093s splitting the two Kawasaki riders.

Haslam’s JG Speedfit Kawasaki teammate Luke Mossey enjoyed a surge up the times into third place ahead of McAMS Yamaha’s Tarran Mackenzie, who effectively missed all of FP1 due to an issue, with Ray being shuffled down to fifth place late on.

Jake Dixon secured sixth in the session for RAF Regular & Reserves Kawasaki in front of Honda’s Dan Linfoot, fresh from injury which has ruled him out of the past two rounds, with Be Wiser Ducati’s Glenn Irwin in eighth place.
