Racing Bulls evoke Jordan memories with special Miami F1 look
Racing Bulls has turned yellow for the Miami Grand Prix

Racing Bulls has revealed a special "summer-sun yellow" look for the Miami Grand Prix, with a colour scheme that closely resembles that of the iconic Jordon team of the 90s and 00s Formula 1 eras.
The Miami round often sees teams make either tweaks or wholesale changes to their liveries, with Cadillac having already revealed its altered look for the weekend.
But while the American team has stuck to its black and white colour palette, Racing Bulls has completely changed things up, removing its usual white and blue look in favour of yellow and chrome. The scheme, which also features on revised team wear for the weekend, features a yellow citrus pattern that "captures the intricate textures found inside the fruit".
Revealed to the public as it arrived at the Kiki On The River waterfront hotspot by yacht, drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad got their first look while riding the waves on Ski-Doos.
"Miami has become a special place for Visa Cash App Racing Bulls to express who we are as a team," said Racing Bulls CEO, Peter Bayer.
"For the past two years, we’ve used this race to showcase something bold and unique, and this latest livery is no exception. The Red Bull Summer Edition livery brings a vibrant energy which reflects who we are as a team - creative and willing to push boundaries. We're very excited to give wiiings to the new seasonal flavour and bring the distinctive design to track this weekend."
Although Racing Bulls can trace its lineage back to Minardi, it is another historic team of the era that this look was quickly compared to, with comparisons drawn to the bright yellow liveries run by Jordan between 1997 and 2005.

The team discovered its iconic look in 1997, when it ran with a snakehead decal on the front of a bright yellow chassis. A hornet and a shark were among the nose decorations that wouild follow in the coming years, but right until the team's final outing in 2005, the yellow remained.
Lotus, Renault, and Benetton are among the teams to have run with eye-catching looks using this colour scheme previously, but for those of a certain vintage, and with the passing of team founder Eddie Jordan in March last year, there is one team that stands above the pack when imagining a yellow F1 car.
