Kovalainen tests aero at flying club.

Heikki Kovalainen continued McLaren's 2008 pre-season test programme with an outing at the Royal Mahon Flying Club on the island of Minorca at the weekend.

The venue has been a popular destination for F1 teams in recent years, with both Ferrari and Toyota having made previous visits, but McLaren kept its trip low key to allow Kovalainen to conduct straight line speed and aerodynamic tests in relative peace. Despite that, however, the Finn's activities still attracted attention from curious fans.

With the next group test due to start at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya later this week, the trip to Minorca filled the days since the Valencia session ended.
