Jenson Button will be reunited with his 2009 championship-winning Brawn Formula 1 car for a special demonstration run at Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix.

Button will drive the BGP001 - the car in which he claimed six grand prix victories in on his way to sealing his maiden F1 world title a decade ago - around the Northamptonshire circuit on Thursday.

The run was organised by F1 sporting chief Ross Brawn, who spearheaded Brawn GP’s remarkable double title triumph, and will be filmed by Sky Sports F1, before being broadcast on Sunday during the build-up show ahead of the race.
