Sam Lowes leads Free Practice 3 for the 2022 Moto2 season-opener in Qatar, but was the only rider in the combined top 12 to improve on his Friday times with Augusto Fernandez remaining quickest overall.
Reigning Moto3 champion fell early in the session at turn 1, his first fall during a Moto2 weekend, while Jake Dixon suffered his second highside of the weekend. Rookie Manuel Gonzalez also escaped injury in a nasty tumble.
