Top 20 Superbike, Superstock starters revealed for 2026 Isle of Man TT
John McGuinness will start No.1 for his 30th anniversary year in the big bike races

The top 20 seeded riders for the 2026 Isle of Man TT Superbike and Superstock races will be headed by John McGuinness, as he celebrates his 30th anniversary at the event.
After several years of the Supersport class opening up the race programme at the Isle of Man TT, the 1000cc machinery will once again raise the curtain in 2026.
This year, the opening Superstock contest race week will kick of proceedings, with the Superbike TT following the next day.
A second Superstock TT will be run during race week, while the Senior TT finale will bring the curtain down on TT 2026.
With four 1000cc races planned, the top 20 seeded starters has been revealed for 2026, with 23-time winner John McGuinness heading the field as he celebrates his 30th anniversary at the TT.
It’s a Honda 1-2-3 in the opening 30 seconds of the big bike races, with Nathan Harrison on the H&H Motorcycles Fireblade going from second, while McGuinness’ Honda factory team-mate Dean Harrison is third.
Harrison won both Superstock races last year, marking his first wins for Honda and his first at the TT since 2019.
Jamie Coward will go from fourth, also on a Honda, as he switches to the Rapid Honda squad for 2026.
David Johnson will campaign a Kawasaki from fifth on the grid, while Michael Dunlop goes from sixth.
The 33-time winner, who took top honours in the Superbike race in 2023, only has one victory on big bikes since 2019.
He is set to campaign a Ducati V4 Panigale at the TT, though did race a BMW at the Cookstown 100 recently in Superstock trim.
Josh Brookes will go from seventh on the DAO Racing Honda, while the most recent Senior TT winner Davey Todd is scheduled to go from eighth on the 8TEN Racing BMW.
Todd was badly injured in a crash at the Daytona 200 earlier this year, but looks set to make a racing comeback soon.
Mike Browne will campaign a Russell Racing Honda from ninth, while big bike specialist Peter Hickman is 10th on the second 8TEN BMW.
Conor Cummins will go from 11th on the Bathams BMW, while Ian Hutchinson is 12th on the TeamRST BMW.
The top 10 is completed by Dominic Herbertson (BMW), Shaun Anderson (BMW), Rob Hodson (Honda), Paul Jordan (Honda), Michael Evans (Honda), Phillip Crowe (BMW), Brian McCormack (BMW) and Julian Trummer (BMW).
