Noriyuki Haga continues to lead the after two rounds of the World Superbike Championship, although Ben Spies' double triumph at Losail has sliced the margin in half to ten points.

Their success is already making this year's title race into something of a two-horse race, with Spies now already 35 points up on third position Max Neukirchner.

The German drops just one place despite a dismal weekend in Qatar, although he is now just two points ahead of double podium winner Max Biaggi, who leaps up from 13th.

Leon Haslam drops to fifth after two 11th place finishes, while a maiden top five result with Yamaha for Tom Sykes lifts him up to sixth.

In all, 20 of the 28 riders have now scored points in the first four races.

In the manufacturers' championship, Ducati remain in the lead, four points up on Yamaha. Honda is third, while Aprilia are up to fourth from sixth.
