Tyco Honda has completed it rider line-up for the 2011 British Superbike Championship season with the signing of Peter Hickman.

Having been one of the first teams to confirm a rider for 2011 in Tommy Bridewell - who stays on for a second season -, Tyco will now also welcome Hickman, who moves from the privately-run Ultimate Yamaha team.

Having competed against the team in its former guise as Quay Garage in both the BSB Cup in 2009 and also last year, Hickman is delighted to now be linking up with Tyco.

"This is the ride I really wanted and I have worked hard over the winter months to make it happen. At last I will be able to show what I am capable of on a really competitive bike.

"I will be taking my existing mechanics with me to the team and I know that the combination will be a real force on track this season."

Having graduated to the BSB championship class in 2010 as Quay Garage Honda, the team will now undergo a transformation for 2011 having secured a title sponsor in Tyco, one that has enabled it to purchase a pair of ex-HM Plant CBR1000RRs.
