Valentino Rossi creates VR46 bicycle range.
Reigning six time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi has put his name to a new bicycle range, formed in collaboration with local Pesaro company Cicli Adriatica and known as 'the VR46 bike collection'.
"Valentino still remembers when, as a kid, took his first steps in the backyard of Dad Graziano, just riding an Adriatica bike," read a statement from Cicli Adriatica. "Since then, Rossi has continued to appreciate the two-wheeled world, though, of course, his interests have moved on the motorbike.

"Valentino still remembers when, as a kid, took his first steps in the backyard of Dad Graziano, just riding an Adriatica bike," read a statement from Cicli Adriatica. "Since then, Rossi has continued to appreciate the two-wheeled world, though, of course, his interests have moved on the motorbike.
"Now that is an established world champion, Valentino decided to design a line of bicycles, with three models designed specifically for children [for which pictures were provided]. Not only that, because Valentino, of course, like to do things big: the prestigious brand VR46 will also sign a racing bike and a mountain bike from the highest level, to assert, even in this field, his winning image known all the world.
"The idea of building the line VR46 was Valentino, who has been found a great cooperation with Cicli Adriatica. But what was initially just an hypothesis, was quickly transformed into something very concrete and the new line VR46 will be presented in Milan during EICMA, the most important exhibition of Italian bikes.
"The show will start on 18th until 21st September 2009."
