World championship leader Quartararo heads his first session of the weekend during Free Practice 4 for the Italian MotoGP at Mugello.
The session was delayed due to lenghtly medical treatment for Jason Dupasquier at the end of the previous Moto3 qualifying session.
MotoGP Qualifying 1, for those outside the top ten after third free practice, including Vinales, Marc Marquez and Rossi, will now get underway.
