2026 Classic TT: Full Day 3 race results

John McGuinness dominated the Historic Senior race at the 2026 Classic TT to claim victory, as he celebrates 30 years of competing on the Isle of Man.

The third day of the 2026 Classic TT is due to see two races run, with the three-lap Historic Senior contest kicking off proceedings in the early afternoon.

Making his debut at the Isle of Man TT 30 years ago in 1996, this year’s Classic TT has been a celebration of John McGuinness’ career on the Mountain Course.

Fast throughout practice on his Paton 500 in the Historic Senior category, McGuinness took command from the off when the race began at 12:30pm local time on Monday.

The veteran English rider built up a lead of over 20 seconds across the first lap, as he steadily built on that over the second tour.

Maintaining a good pace over the final lap, McGuinness got to the chequered flag just under 27 seconds clear of Shaun Anderson.

Anderson, also on a Paton 500, dropped behind Mike Browne during the final lap of the Historic Senior.

But Browne encountered an issue on his Norton ES2 and had to nurse his bike home, promoting Anderson back to second.

Browne held onto third despite his issues.

McGuinness’ victory comes after a podium in the Historic Junior race on Saturday, when he finished third.

Baz Furber was fourth on his Honda CB500, while Will Loder completed the top five on his Seeley Mk2.

Isle of Man TT Sidecar ace Ben Birchall cracked the top eight in seventh on the leading 350cc machine in the race.

Michael Dunlop was a retirement, with the likes of Dean Harrison, Jamie Coward and Conor Cummins also joining a long list of non-finishers.
