FIA stewards take no action over Vettel-Verstappen-Raikkonen Singapore crash

The FIA stewards will take no further action against Sebastian Vettel, Max Verstappen or Kimi Raikkonen over the start-line crash in Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix, saying no driver could be deemed wholly responsible.

The race in Singapore got off to a dramatic start in the wet when Verstappen got caught between the two Ferraris, sending Raikkonen into a spin and into the path of Vettel.

All three drivers were left with damaged cars, forcing them to retire from the race on the first lap and leave Singapore empty handed.

The FIA stewards confirmed mid-race they would be investigating the incident after the chequered flag, but after talking with all three drivers have deemed none of them to be largely responsible. As a result, no further action will be taken.

While the Ferrari drivers remained coy about what caused the crash, Verstappen pointed the finger at Vettel, believing he should not have made such a bold move when fighting for a championship.
