With the 2010 British Grand Prix at Silverstone just around the corner, Colin Edwards has been confirmed as one of the star names to be attending a pre-event Chat Show in Northallerton.

The American will be taking part in the show alongside World Superbike race winner Jonathan Rea and TT victory Ian Hutchinson, as well as road racers Keith Amor and Gary Johnson.

Arranged by the North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters Club and hosted by World Superbike and British Superbike commentator Jack Burnicle, the event offers fans a chance to get up close and personal with notable names in motorcycling, while the popular auction and raffle will raise money to further the career of local racers in the area.

Among the prizes is a limited edition drawing of Colin by artist Pete Hurst, which will be signed by Colin Edwards on the night, while there is also a signed Arai RX-7GP Colin Edwards replica helmet up for grabs too.

The event will take place at Club Amadeus in Northallerton on June 16th, with doors opening and 7pm and tickets costing ?8 (?5 for NYRRSC members)
